General Principles of Torah and Spirituality

1. Each letter, word, and space in the written scroll is meant to teach YOU a lesson on 70 different levels

2. Your lessons are unique to you. They are different than my own lessons.

3. Each person has a unique Tikune to achieve. The Torah will hint to each person what is that Tikune. There are people with similar Tikunim. This is the definition of a Nation. Today no one knows what Nation they belong to.

4. The Torah teaches us the Names of the Nations and the Name hints at these 70 different levels mentioned above.

5. The words and teachings of Torah will impact each person differently. Each impact is meant for that person and each impact is truth for that person. Each year as the words of Torah are read again the impact will be different because the person has changed and is different. This is true of each day as well.

Energy Summary for the two week period October 7-October 19:

The period of October 13 to Oct 19 has the energy from The Torah Reading of Shabbat Beraishit. That energy is "Beginning".

The period of Oct 20 to October 27 has the energy of the Torah reading of Noach. In Hebrew this is a two letter shoresh or root - נח .

The Torah Reading is Named Noach. The two letter shoresh Nun Chet relates to "rest", "comfort", "repose", and "linger". In reverse Chet Nun relates to "charm" and "beauty". Chet Nun is also part of a three letter shoresh Chet Nun Nun which relates to "amnesty", "party", and "pity". It also relates to "to endow with".

In the first verse of the Parasha Noach is used twice (right next to each other. In English it is translated as two sentences. In Hebrew it relates the three letter shoresh Chet Nun Nun. Noach spelled twice has these three letters plus an additional Chet. Chet as a number is 8 which relates to the Sefirah of Binah. This is teaching that "Binah is endowed with". The end of that sentence is "comfort" and/or "beauty". This is the energy of Noach.

Lets look at this energy differently. What is the nature of Binah? It is the essence of Motherhood. Mothers (Parents) provide comfort. Mothers provide a role model for beauty.

In your life what do you perceive as beauty? What provides comfort to you? Many people would answer these questions with the answer "financial security". Others have learned through experience that THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FINANCIAL SECURITY.

COMFORT COMES FROM THE CREATOR THROUGH CERTAINTY IN HIS LOVE AND PROVIDING FOR OUR PARNASSA. OTHERS SEE THIS COMFORT AS COMING FROM HIS PROTECTION SHIELD OR USING ANOTHER WORD FOR PROTECTION FROM HIS ARK.

The Zohar in the Parasha of Noach teaches that Noach built an Ark that provided for all of life to survive the flood while THE ZOHAR itself is the Ark in our generation. How much effort will you put into building your ARK this year? Let me ask it differently. How much effort will you put into reading or scanning the Zohar so that your Ark / Protection shield is complete for the year?
