Also if you are interested to host a teacher to yeshshem@hotmail.com. The Parasha for this week is a double portion with the name Matot Masei. The translation of these 2 words is Tribes Journeys! There are 9 spaces in the Parasha of Matot and 8 spaces in the Parasha of Maseii. Together there are 17 which connects us to the essence of Tov (Gematria of Tov is 17) or good! Another hint is the reading of 244 verses in these 2 Parashiot. 244 can be expressed as Dalet Resh Mem Sofit. דרם . In one permutation of these 3 letters you have the words for revolt, insurrection, and uprising. In another permutation one can translate the word as "a doorway to elevation". This is the essence of this Parasha, that only comes during the 3 week period. In all years that are not leap years they are read together. This is because the Shabbat Chazon (the highest Shabbat in the year) comes next Shabbat. On this Shabbat Chazon we must read the parasha of Devarim. Devarim has no Zohar explanation because we need the unlimited energy (without the energy being veiled by an explanation) in order to handle the 9 days of AV during the 3 week period. So what is the spiritual lessons from these Parashiot? Matot is a message to the Heads of the Tribes. Masei is a listing of the 42 journeys that the Tribes took in the 40 years. Remember each word in the Torah relates to each person in each generation and then it is based on 70 different understandings for each of those people as well. In essence the Torah is talking to you today at exactly the level of consciousness you have right now. As you grow the message from the Torah will change as well. Your understanding of the Torah's message will change. 42 is the Number of letters in the Ana Bekoach. The Ana Bekoach is the words and letters used by the creator to create our physical world. So the 42 journeys relate to creation. The Heads of the Tribes relate to the heads of the bodies of the children of Israel. When the Children of Israel were ready to enter the land after 40 years of journeys they were perfectly prepared. And that is the spiritual teaching from this parasha. We are all heads of tribes and we are all perfectly prepared for our journey. In fact there is a spiritual teaching to the effect that we can borrow the energy from our perfected self (our higher self)(from the future or is it the now?) to create / bootstrap the perfection of our soul NOW! This energy does not have to be repaid because it is used by ourselves to create our perfected self. Our corrected self exists in the Endless Vessel in the Endless World. It lacks for nothing including energy so when we borrow energy our perfected self receives the replacement from the Endless Light. This is another way of understanding why we do not have to replace the energy we borrow. It is because we are the same entity that gives us this energy, therefore there is no need to pay ourselves back. The concept of bootstrapping ourselves into perfection is also a very real part of the creative process. We do not do things logically or step by step. We go forward 2 steps and fall 1. Then we jump 3 steps forward and fall 4 backward. Ultimately when we start from a place that is imperfect it is impossible to reach perfection. The only way to reach perfection from a place of imperfection is to raise ourselves by pulling on our boot straps or laces from perfection to walk up to perfection step by step. To fully understand this discussion it is helpful to remember that Kabbalah teaches that there is no separation between the present and the future. The future exists in the present as a potential and the present is the cause of the future. Think about these concepts until you feel you have a handle of understanding on them then reread the parapgraph above. The question is How does one accomplish this borrowing. Through consciousness and listening to the reading of this weeks double portion of the Tribes Journeys. Just know that if you will it / it will happen. Use your connection to certainty! What do you have to lose except to try it. It will/might work for you. Just ask your higher self to help you be perfect because your higher self is perfect and your higher self exists in the Endless World and all other worlds including our world of action. It is only an illusion that you are imperfect. Stop falling to the illusion. YOU ARE PERFECT NOW! So act perfect till you are perfect. Fake it till you make it! Any questions? Lets look at a specific verse from this reading. Please look at Chapter 33 Verse 21. The translation of this verse is They journeyed from Libnah and camped in Risah. Risah is one of the names of the places that the Jews journeyed towards during the March in the Desert for 40 years. Now lets look at what this word teaches us about our lives today. The word is spelled רסה but is actually ברסה ; The prefix bet means "in". When one looks at the 4 letters they spell 2 words Bar and Has. Bar is Aramaic for son of and Has is also an Aramaic word for Silence! OR "Shut Up!". i THINK THAT THE SPIRITUAL LESSON FROM THIS STOP IN THE DESERT IS CLEAR TO US TODAY. Yet there is more to learn from this word also. Risah spelled רסה comes from a Shoresh that means to spray or sprinkle. This is an apt description of most of the words that leave our mouth today. They sprinkle or spray negativity into the world. Can we learn to stop this? Replace your words that sprinkle negativity with words of Torah. This is the cure for Loshon Harah. When we start to permutate this word we get the word סהר. This word translates as a cresent moon or as a conjugation of a verb that translates as jail. Our Loshon Harah is what puts us in jail (limits our pleasure and creates chaos in our lives). Another permutation is הסר . This word now translates as "the dejected" or "the sullen". Is this an apt depiction of most teenagers today. Of course our psychiatrists teach us that this is normal. And it is normal but not necessary when we teach our children spiritual laws and paths. Remember this word is not yet complete in its analysis. We have not even touched the Gematria of 265 and 267. We will leave you to study this Gematria yourself and then perhaps we will speak about it next year. Lets look at another location we stopped at during our journey's. In Verse 26 there is a place called TaChaT. It is spelled תחת or בתחת with the prefix Bet (in). This again breaks into 2 words Bat Chat. This translates as "daughter of Dread or fear". Let's continue to see what else we can learn from this stop in the desert; This stop in the desert of our lives. Kabbalah teaches that each Letter, Each word, Each Verse is speaking to our souls today, in our lives today. Therefore we can understand that it is not just a 40 year walk in the desert taken by our ancestors. The Torah is speaking about us being our ancestors as well as we are the ones walking in the desert today, learning the spiritual lessons we did not learn then. Please reread this paragraph, it is the basis of many deep understandings and teachings of our Torah. A permutation of Tachat translates as "under" or as "Butt" or "Ass". I think the lesson from this is to stop and to face our fears and stop hiding (being under). It is time to put our best foot forward (meaning just move forward and stop being afraid) even if we feel that we would rather be covered up and hide. This are just some of the things we can learn from these stops in the desert. In order to perfect ourselves. In order to ask our higher self for help in being perfect already because we are perfect, if we just desire to be perfect. It is time to bring that perfection into manifestation by doing what is right. Do you know what is right? Do you understand the difference between being Anti War and Pro Peace? Contemplate this! MEDITATE UPON THIS! This will help you learn what is the right thing for you to do! Have you started your Heshbon (your calculation) for your Tshuvah? Have you seen how the universe is sending you people, situations, thoughts, and other examples that remind you of items of your past that you might consider that you have done them wrong and now the universe is giving you another chance to do it right?
