Parasha Bo בא

Essence of Parasha Bo

Bo is a command word that translates as "Come". HaShem tells Moshe to Come with "Him" meaning HaShem to Pharoah. Since in English this does not make sense most translators change it to "GO to Pharoah". What this does is conceal the true essence of the Parasha. The Zohar explains that Moshe knew that Pharaoh was connected to the very highest level of the negative system. Moshe was not sure he could defeat that level which is referred to as "crocodile" in the Zohar. So HaShem reassured Moshe by telling Moshe that HaShem would come with him to defeat the negative system. The actual essence of this parasha is to defeat the Satan. Defeating the Satan is our last chance. We may have made ourselves vulnerable to chaos and to sickness and to other forms of negativity. Yet if we go to the root of these vulnerabilities we can defeat the negative system. This parasha provides us with the energy to do our personal and global Teshuvah which removes Satan and the Angel of Death from the world.

Parasha Bo is from Shemot Chapter 10 Verse 1 toChapter 13 Verse 16

The Haftara is from Jeremiah Chapter 46 Verse 13 until Verse 28.

Commentary for the year 5778

The word Bo translates as "come". In the first verse of the parasha "come" does not make sense in either English or Hebrew.

In the English translation of the first verse it says "come to Pharaoh". This is why the usual translation is "go" to Pharaoh. When one says "come to Pharaoh" there is an implied but unsaid addition. It is "Come" with me to Pharaoh.

This parasha is a unique parasha. The energy of most Parashiot are effective for the week that is the reading. All Parashiot due to HaShem's mercy act as vaccine against the negative aspect of that weeks energy. There are a few Parasha's that the energy is effective throughout the year. HaShem's mercy allows this weeks Parasha to act as a vaccine against the most intense negative energy there is. This negative energy is the Angel of Death.

The energy of Parasha Bo is a protection against the Angel of Death.

Another important question:

Why is the last 3 plagues mentioned prior to the first Mitzva given to the Nation as a whole - that is the Mitzvah of "announcing the new moon".

This Mitzvah is more than its simple understanding. This Mitzvah represents HaShem giving control of the physical world to the Righteous People within the nation of the Children of Israel.

There is also a connection based on the Pascal Lamb. This Mitzvah also is a gift to the nation that by controlling the lamb they control both systems - the positive sefirot and the negative system of Satan.

As we approach the time of Mashiach things must change. The spiritual system has a law - the simplest method is the correct path. Miracles happen yet miracles are not the simplest method. To manifest Mashiach requires 3 steps according to the Kabblah. They are:

1. The Third Temple

2. Return of the exiles

3. Resurrection of the Dead

Not necessarily in that order.

We live in a generation of technological change. These changes impact greatly the medical knowledge base and "average lifespan". As these changes speed up mankind will no longer die do to medical improvements and technology. This parasha Bo has always had the ability to put an end to death. It is just a matter of consciousness. If you expect to die - you will. If you expect to live - you will.

This is the teaching of the Kabbalah and it is my opinion that it is truth.

NO MORE DEATH in This PHYSICAL WORLD. It is up to you.

THINK LIFE NOT DEATH

IT WORKS

Verse Kabbalistic Analysis: Shemot Chapter 10 Verse 1:

ויאמר יהוה אל-משה בא אל-פרעה כי-אני הכבדתי את-לבו ואת-לב עבדיו למען שתי אתתי אלה בקרבו

And HaShem said to Moses: 'Come in to Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these My signs in the midst of them;

Wayomer HaShem El Moshe Bo El ParKi Ani Hakavodti Et Lavo WeEt lev Ahvadav LamaAn Sheti Etti Ehleh Vakarvo.

20 words - connects to the 10 Sefirah of direct light and 10 Sefirot of returning light. 20 also connects to the letter Caf which is the word for palm and Yad the word for hand.

67 Letters connects to the Hebrew word for Binah. It also has a connection to the 70th Name of the 72 Names of HaShem.

Shiluv Tool: First Letters

This is my intuitive connection. You need to do this for yourself as well

ויאמבאפכאהאלולעלשאאב

The gematria of the first letters is 637. In Genesis 2:19 there is a word meaning "see" or "gaze" used. This verse is about Adam seeing beyond the physical body of animals in order to Name animals consistent with the essence of the animal.

In order to remove death will require individuals choosing to be able to "see" or "gaze" past physical bodies. This is my opinion.

The small gematria of the first letters is 61. Other Hebrew words with this gematria are Ani = "I"; Ain = "Nothing"; HaYom = "Day of Judgement".

We see how the energy of this verse is relating to our return to the Ain Sof - "endless world" through the Day of Judgment and the need to control our ego.

Shiluv Tool: Final Letters

This is my intuitive connection. You need to do this for yourself as well.

רהלהאלהיייתותבוןייהו

The gematria of these letters is 1201. This number relates to horned owl and the chameleon. Both of these animals relate to camouflage. This is consistent with hinting to the removal of death from the world.

Please email yeshshem@hotmail.com with your own meanings to these letters as acronyms. Your meanings will be added to the parasha page along with the attribution unless you request that there not be an attribution posted.

It is important that the above is not misinterpreted. There is only one God and He/She/It is the God of the Children of Israel. Always feel and show respect - fear, awe for God whose Name is

יהוה

Included in this name are all of the attributes that a human being perceives as belonging to HaShem, including Elohim - Shadai - myriads of other Names.

Commentary on the Parasha - Year 5777

The Parasha is Bo. Bo is usually mistranslated as "Go" since it does not make sense in English to say "Come to Pharaoh". The Zohar explains that Moshe was afraid to go to the Big Crocodile sitting in the Highest River which the Zohar calls Keter. HaShem then said to Moshe: "Come with me to Pharaoh". The Torah, which limits its words and letters, says "Bo El Pharaoh" - which translates as "Come to Pharaoh"

The last 3 Plagues are specified and manifested in this Parasha. The hearing of the Parasha on Shabbat is our vaccine against the higher levels of the negative system.

The last 3 plagues are:

8. Locusts - Arba - ארבה - Binah level of the negative Tree. Note: Pharoah was told by his advisers to let the people go while the Astrologers told him His God Ra'ah was against the Israelites. Therefore he concluded that he could keep some of his "slaves". Thus the 8th plague manifested.

9. Darkness - Chosech - חשך - Chochmah level of the negative Tree. Note: 80% of the Children of Israel died during the Plague of Darkness. They needed to experience death since they were so connected to physicality. Also the seed level of the Children of Israel borrowing the wealth of the world was started during the plague of Darkness. Pharoah would let the Children of Israel leave but not the cattle. Moshe realized that possessions have souls connected to humans and to leave the cattle would leave a source to recover "slaves".

10. First Born - Bechor - בחור - Keter level of the negative Tree. Note: The Children of Israel left Egypt - the limitations that they created which at its strongest limitation is "accepting death as part of life". This was true for 100 days - until the building of the "Golden Calf". Please realize what this means in and to your life!

To assist the Children of Israel to destroy the negative Tree HaShem gave the Children of Israel the first Mitzvah to the nation which is the Announcing of the New Moon which continues to this day through the ritual of Rosh Chodesh. Connect to this Mitzvah on Shabbat Bo in this year of the Goat 5777 by attending a Torah Reading this next Shabbat January 28th 2017. The number of Verses in the Parasha

There are 105 verses in this Parasha. In Hebrew this word can be translated as "the monkey". In my opinion this applies to Pharaoh who acts with huge ego when there is no reason for this feeling. The code word that the Sages have given us is ימנה. This word Yaminah translates as "active appointing". Moshe was appointed in the parasha of Shemot. The question is who is being appointed? In my opinion, it is the nation of Israel being appointed to bring the light down to the physical world. That was and still is the purpose of the redemption.
