Metzora - מצרע

The essence - energy of Parasha Metzora

The energy of Metzora is essentially counter intuitive. In most years which are not leap years. The parashiot of Tazria and Metzora are read together. In those years the energy is the same - Healing. As such i have duplicated the writings about the energy from the parasha of Tazria below. Yet realize also below is a specific energy related solely to the Parasha of Metzora.

It is important to note that the energy of each Shabbat is for the week following the reading. There are some Shabbatot readings where the energy is for all of the year. This energy of Metzora is one of them.

Tazria - Healing energy

Tazria translates as "Inseminate". This discussion brings up specific reactions to the cleansing / healing of the female as she recovers from her pregnancy.

Then the Parasha turns to the disease of "leprosy" which is caused by Loshon HaRah. The sages of the last generation stress that it is necessary to develop and control our speech so that we are not guilty of speaking evil.

Most people do not know what is "evil speech". And more importantly people do not know how to protect themselves from both saying "Loshon HaRah" and Protecting themselves from the effect of other people speaking "evil" about them.

Here is an example of what i mean:

Giving a compliment to someone about their clothing is considered "Loshon HaRah". Read about the Parasha to learn why and how to give a compliment that is not "Evil Speech". Also learn how to protect yourself from people who do speak evil about you.

Loshon Harah is when you think consciously that you are better than another person or you give the opportunity for someone who hears you that they might think less of any person you speak to or about than they did before they heard your words. This is what is wrong with compliments when given in public.

So only give compliments in private and when you have brought your consciousness under control and love that person not think that you are higher or better than that person.

The way to protect yourself from other people speaking evil about you is to read the 11 verses in the Tanach that start and end with the letter Nun. Search the yeshshem website for 11` Verses and Loshon Harah.

Metzora

In the parasha of Metzora, on the simple story level, it talks about disease of houses and building and disease of clothing as well as diseases associated with humans as discussed above in Tazria.

the modern kabbalists discuss this as being future science that will look for signs in physical items owned by people that will presage the diagnosis for the cure of the disease that has not yet manifested in the human even though the signs are there to know it is coming unless the person changes. Think about this. Is this future science? or is it available to us now? the Torah teaches that all physical things have souls and bodies and that some parts of a humans soul inhabits the items owned by that human. Learn this well and how to see the signs of future disease.

Commentary for the year 5777

The word Tazria translates as "She is Pregnant".

The word Metzora translates as "Leper".

Together they translate as "A Leper She is pregnant". This is the physical level. On a deeper level, pregnancy is considered the seed level in Kabbalah. In todays language the seed level is DNA. The full meaning within the Kabbalah comes from an additional word which is Torat a word next to the word Metzora at the beginning of that Parasha. Torat can be translated as "teaching"

The full meaning of these two Parashiot when read together is that the energy is "The Teaching of cleansing the Leper". What does that mean to us in our lives today?

In Biblical days the leper represented a disease that is equivalent to the plagues of our generation. Today this double reading provides for us the opportunity to "learn how to change our DNA so that we do not create these diseases in our lives. If we have these diseases in our lives already this reading will allow us the energy to cleanse these diseases.

The process to cleanse any disease is Teshuvah - returning to HaShem by reconnecting the channel of Shefa that our negative action blocked up.

One of the aspects of this teaching is that the cure can not be determined by ourselves. The action must be done by ourselves yet the actual cure takes place when we go to the spiritual Priest and he or she determines that we are cured.

Who is a spiritual Priest?

It is the students of Kabbalah today. Do you want to become a spiritual healer student of Kabbalah? Contact us at yeshshem@hotmail.com

The number of Verses in this Parasha

There are 90 verses in this Parasha. The number 90 is the gematria of the letter Tzadi which translates as Righteous. The code word given by the Sages is the word Ahyadu עידו. Ahyadu can be translated as "See His Hand". The message is to realize that our actions cause "the Hand of HaShem" to manifest illness in our lives.
