Translation

Before one can translate this one needs to know what it is talking about.

There are 7 Verses from here till the end of Chapter 1. The 10 Sefirot are being described yet not in the typical manner of Sefirot. The letters are discussed as well. It is almost as if it is a duplicate or alternative discussion of the ten Sefirot.

My teacher teaches that from this Mishna to the end of Chapter 1 it is talking specifically about the 10 Sefirot and should be thought of as chapter 1A as it is different than the earlier Mishnayot.

Also, the academics typically think of the teachings of the 10 Sefirot as later Kabbalah typically after the 13 to 14 hundreds of the Common Era. Yet this is the earliest written descriptions of the 10 Sefirot.

Typical Translation

Ten Sefirot of Nothingness One is the Breath of the Living God. Blessed and benedict is the name of the Life of Worlds. The voice of breath and speech And this is the Holy Breath.

There are actually missing phrases in this translation.

Alternative Translation

10 Sefirot Without What; One (f). Spirit of the Living Elohim, Life of a World, correct is His throne from when or song, Blessed with Blessing is His eternal name forever and ever. (one translation)

Voice Wind Word (Another translation Voice Spirit Speech; This is the Holy Spirit, to its head can be no investigation; to its end there is no limitation.

Before beginning this class it is necessary for every student to erase as best as possible the memory of the Tree of Life Glyphs they have seen and think they understand.

Keter CAN NOT BE UNDERSTOOD; Keter can not be intuited; Keter CAN BE EXPERIENCED.

Now think of our astrological solar system, in a way you have not thought of it before. Think of it as orbits being circles with the largest circle being outside the orbit of Pluto and each other circle being one of the planets going inward until reaching the sun which has no circle only emptyness. The ten circles are 1. Outside Pluto's Orbit; (Keter) 2. Pluto's Orbit; (Chochmah) 3. Uranus Orbit; (Binah) 4. Neptune Orbit; (Daat) 5. Saturn Orbit; (Gedulah-Chesed) 6. Jupiter Orbit; (Gevurah) 7. Asteroid Belt Orbit; (Tiferet) 8. Mars Orbit; (Netzach) 9. Venus Orbit; (Hod) 10. Mercury Orbit. (Yesod) 11. And then the Sun. (Malchut)

Now think of a machine standing outside of the Keter Orbit, throwing planets like a boy standing on the beach throwing / skipping stones across the water. When the planet/rock drops into the sun there is no movement, yet the ripples in gravity or the ripples in the water get larger and larger.

If mixing the two metaphors is confusing then think of the boy and the water ripples only.

Which is the largest circle? Which the smallest? As the planet or rock crosses the circles that do not exist yet in our consciousness what do we call them?

Is Malchut inside Keter? Or outside?

Always think of the Sefirot within Keter. This is the structure that is more truly the Tree of Life for me. Each person will have their own experience and each experience can be correct. Just be careful that you are not seeing the corrupt system in your experience. If you have questions about this call me.

Now let's look at the description of Keter from the Sefer Yetzirah:

One not the no one or unity but the female form of one.

Spirit of the Living Elohim; this is a reference to Chochmah.

Life of a World or Life Forever; this is a reference to Binah.

This is one of the most important teachings in Kabbalah and it is difficult to relate to. Rabbi Ashlag calls it the Gimmel Reshonot (3 Upper Sefirot) are all one.

We must realize that Keter is the source of all and yet not within all.

Keter communicates to Chochmah and Binah as it represents the restriction, Binding by Striking, (balance point) between Chochmah and Binah.

The Ramban or Nachmonides (a Kabbalist of the 13th Century) in his commentary to the Sefer Yetzirah explains that there are 3 lights. In modern terms they are Keter, Chochmah, and Binah. Keter represents God's Will which receives light from Ohr Ain Sof. Chochmah receives light from Keter and is our intuitive level. It has no letter or word. That is why the word Keter relates to something outside of the whole. The crown rests on the head. It does not effect anything but it affects everything. Binah also receives light from Keter and is our logical mind. Binah and Chochmah are always in zvug (sexual union).

Keter can not be understood and Keter can not be intuited, yet Keter can be experienced. Since Keter has no letters or words, it is capable of sending letters to our intuitive and logical mind in a different order than exists there in the NOW! Therefore, we can change Lead into Gold by changing the letters that one brings down from Keter to Chochmah or Binah or Both from:

עופרת (lead) to זהב (gold)

This is also how one changes the year ahead on Yom Kippur.

No, i will not tell you more because i do not know more on the intellectual level. It must be experienced. How do you change no letters into letters? By experiencing Keter in your meditations.

Now go look at the first 3 expressions in the Mishna:

Echat = One (f) = Keter;

Why is the female form? Why is the word number implied but not said?

Ruach Elohim Chaim = Spirit of a Living God (also spirit God lives) = Chochmah.

Hint: Why is Elohim used? Why is Spirit in the singular? You should be able to ask further questions.

Chaye (with a serah vowel (2 dots next to each other) Olamim = living worlds or worlds of living = Binah.

You should ask the questions that reveal the hints.

The Hebrew word Nachon is translated as correct, yet that is not quite true. It can be seen as Noach Zeir Anpin and a fallen one. Its shoresh comes from the words that mean to lead or guide as well as another possible shoresh means to state or express. Does the Gimmel Reshonot lead or guide? Remember Noach has the letters that are the first letters of my name and imply Hidden Wisdom.

Some teachings in Kabbalah imply that the Throne represents Binah. Mayoz has the numerical value of 8 which usually is thought of as Binah.

The modern philosopher Descartes says, "I think; therefore i Am!

Is this true or not? I exists without thinking. Thinking is unconscious. Therefore I am is using logic.

This statement relates to Keter, Chochmah, and Binah:

Now look at the other descriptions of Keter. How do they relate to your limited understanding and intuition?

Nachon is correct, yet we discussed above some different ideas.

Correct is His throne from when or song,

Which word or concept is Keter? Which is Chochmah? Which is Binah?

Blessed with Blessing is his eternal name forever and ever. (one translation)

Which word or concept is Keter? Which is Chochmah? Which is Binah?

Voice Wind Word; (Another translation Voice Spirit Speech,

Which word or concept is Keter? Which is Chochmah? Which is Binah?

This is the Holy Spirit,

Which word or concept is Keter? Which is Chochmah? Which is Binah?

To its head can be no investigation; to its end there is no limitation.

Which word or concept is Keter? Which is Chochmah? Which is Binah? Or is this referring to ten Sefirot within ten Sefirot?

Why do i have to relate to Chochmah and Binah to relate to Keter?
